PTFE coatings, or polytetrafluoroethylene, are superior non-stick fluoropolymer coatings with a highly durable thin-film finish. These coatings have the highest operating temperature of any fluoropolymer and possess an extremely low coefficient of friction, good abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance. This coating is typically used where a smooth, low-friction, and corrosion-resistant finish is required.
PTFE coating is one of the most sought-after non-stick products in the world due to its exceptional properties and can withstand a maximum operating temperature of 260°C, higher than any other fluoropolymer.
Types of non-stick PTFE coatings:
- Single-layer PTFE coating (Metallic Black) – Used for the application of metal parts with specific dimensions and smoothness.
- Multi-layer PTFE system (Matte Black) – Used only for special requirements.
- Two-layer PTFE system (Metallic Black) – Primarily used in the food industry with excellent performance at temperatures from 180 to 260°C.
- Two-layer PTFE system with ceramic filler (chameleon color) – designed for all manufacturing processes and machinery in contact with adhesives, plastics, chemicals, and sticky elements.
- Multi-layer PTFE system with ceramic filler (chameleon color)
